Cumhuriyet Mahallesi Ahmet Haşhaş Primary Schoolwas founded in 1989. There are two buildings in the garden . A block has got 10 classrooms in it and B block has got 19 classrooms.63 teachers and 4 deputy managers work in our school . Our principal is Mustafa Cura ( also he is a co-ordinator of our group ) . Our school include many facilities such as:We have got almost 7 laboratories in B block.
There are 4 nursery classes .Each class consists of nearly 20 students.Both individual and group educational are applied.
There is a turf football ground next to the garden . We have got a successfull football team . ( our school is the only one in Konya which has a large turf football ground )
There are two classes in our school for handicapped children who need special education. Both individual and group educational are applied.
There is a class of informatics. Students can connect internet , study and search for their Project , learn how to use computer , do their homeworks .
There are two technology and design laboratories .Students can build their manipulative skills by attending these classes.
We have a canteen and dressing rooms for physical education lessons near the turf football ground
Nearly , all classrooms have television and DVD Players in them. Information technology is indispensible in today’s world. Therefore,projectors and DVDs are part of the technology used in our schools.
Counseling and Guidance Department
The counselling department organises activities both for parents and students. They arrange events in psychological, social and academic areas.The counseling department does individual and group observations, tests, inventories, publishes newsletters and provides vocational guidance. They conduct Career Development Programmes starting from 7th grade.
We have a folk dance group. They perform their shows in our big hall at the ground floor of B block.
Moreover language lessons , music lessons , social sciences lessons are taught in special laboratories .There are equipments for suitable lessons in them.
